Top Locking Nuts, Duplex Stainless (2205, Ferralium etc.) (ASME B18. 2.2)
Automation-Style Lock Nuts, Top Locking Lock Nuts or Stover Lock Nuts are lock nuts with a locking feature deformed into the top of the nut. This deformation crimps the internal thread, increasing its friction against the mating bolt or stud, leading to the locking feature.
