Elevator Bolts
Elevator Bolts have large slightly countersunk flat heads with a square neck to stop the bolt from turning as it is tightened against the soft canvas. The bolts were originally designed to hold buckets on to the canvas belts used in grain elevators and other conveyer systems.
Elevator bolts are wide flat head bolt fasteners used in conveyor systems to tie canvas belts together. Elevator bolts are fanged heads, ribbed necks, and slotted heads. Bucket bolts or elevator bucket bolts are common names for elevator bolts. Bucket bolts are often used in conjunction with hex nuts or nylock nuts, as well as a washer package. Elevator bolts are available in metric and imperial sizes, with thread profiles such as unified national coarse pitch (UNC), fine pitch (UNF), fixed pitch (UN), and ISO metric.
Common applications of Elevator Bolts are:
- • Conveyor Systems
- • Agricultural Belting Systems
- • Industrial
- • Mining
