Anchor Bolts
Anchor bolts, also called Foundation Bolts, are usually straight, "L shaped, or "J" shaped, and are used to connect structural and non-structural elements to concrete. Anchor Bolts are not really bolts, since they do not have a head, but more correctly they are bent rods. Anchor bolts are embedded into the concrete during pouring with protruding thread, and can transfer different types of load: tension forces and shear forces.
